Geocaching Electrical Safety

In most cases electrical utility boxes, metal lamp posts, wooden power poles, transmission tower legs, etc are PRIVATE PROPERTY. Hiding a geocache on these types of equipment places the cache in violation of Groundspeak's listing of guidelines. You need permission. I don't know anyone or any organization that would give permission to hide a game-piece on their utility equipment.
